MOL acquires Austrian petrol stations in swap with ENI

Hungarian oil and gas company MOL has raised its number of petrol stations in Austria by 26 within the framework of a swap agreement with Italian peer ENI, MOL told MTI on Monday.

MOL swapped ten of its petrol stations in Romania for the 26 AGIP stations in Austria. The swap aims to optimize the companies’ market shares in both countries, MOL said.

When the transaction is closed, MOL will have 73 petrol stations in Austria and 121 in Romania. ENI will have 158 stations in Austria and 37 in Romania. (MTI-Eco)
