Modine to spend $12 mln on second factory in Hungary

Modine announces $12 mln investment to build a Greenfield manufacturing facility in Hungary to support growing product demand.

Modine, US manufacturing company a global leader in designing and developing heating and cooling solutions for a diversified group of markets, announced yesterday that its Board of Directors has approved a $12 million (€9.28 million) investment to build a second facility in Hungary, supporting growing demand for aluminum heat transfer products from global customers such as Caterpillar, Volvo, Nacco and AGCO in Europe, and extending Modine's global low cost country manufacturing footprint. The new facility will be built in Füzesabony, in North East Hungary, very close to Modine's existing facility in Mezőkövesd, Hungary. (mti-eco, modine.com)
