MKIK business confidence index reaches all-time low

The Hungarian Chamber of Trade and Industry's (MKIK) business confidence index fell to minus 18% in April to reach its lowest point since the measure was started in 1998, chamber chairman László Parragh said.

Responses to the MKIK survey from 1,450 companies show the outlook is worsening in all segments, though the situation is worse for Hungarian-owned companies than for joint ventures or foreign-owned ones. (MTI – Econews)
