The Rural Development Ministry’s Agricultural Biotechnology Center in Gödöllő, 30 km northeast of Budapest, has won HUF 221.5 million in non-refundable European Union support to install insulation and renovate the heating and cooling systems at the organization's 20-year-old building, acting Agricultural Biotechnology Center chief director Barnabás Jenes told MTI.
Jenes said the center expects to save HUF 10 – 15 million annually on water, gas and electricity bills through improvement of energy efficiency at the building.
