Hungarian mineral-water company Kekkuti Asvanyviz sustained losses of HUF 500 million in 2010, compared to losses of around HUF 1 billion in 2009, company Corporate Relations Director Balazs Szabo told MTI on Saturday.
Kekkuti Asvanyviz generated revenue of HUF 5.8 billion in 2010, down 4.9% from 2009 as a result of adverse market trends, he said, noting that Hungary's mineral-water market contracted 7.1% last year.
Kekkuti targets a 3% rise in revenue this year, Szabo said, .
Market-research company Nielsen reported in February that Kekkuti Asvanyviz sold a market-high 101.8 million bottles of mineral water in 2010.
Kekkuti Asvanyviz is a unit of Nestle Waters.
