MÁV suspends Eurocom's access rights due to unpaid debts

Hungarian state-owned railway MÁV has suspended locomotive operator Eurocom's railway-network access contract due to HUF 421 million (€1.5 million) in overdue debts, MÁV informed MTI on Thursday evening.

MÁV took the decision after Eurocom failed to meet an April 30 payment deadline effective under an amended payment schedule agreed by the two companies on April 6. (MTI-ECONEWS)
