MÁV-START, the passenger unit of state-owned Hungarian railway company MÁV, has called a negotiated public procurement procedure for a collection agency to collect HUF 5.75 billion in unpaid fares and fines, the latest issue of the Public Procurement Gazette shows.

MÁV-START's revenue from fares came to about HUF 42 billion in 2010, MÁV told MTI.
