Sales volume climbed 40pc in Q3 from the same period a year earlier, Tanos said.

Full-year revenue is expected to rise to more than HUF 5.4bn in 2010. Matusz-Vad's sales climbed 12pc in 2009.

Sales of Matusz-Vad's Slovakian franchise partner came to about EUR 500,000 in Q3, up 40pc from the same period a year earlier. Sales were boosted by the partner's expansion into eastern Slovakia, Tanos said.

Matusz-Vad's deliveries to Vienna and the Burgenland region of Austria came to EUR 140,000-150,000 a month in Q3, as much as eight times turnover in the same period a year earlier. The company starts deliveries to 30-40 new business partners each month, Tanos said.

Matusz-Vad plans to build a new refrigerated warehouse in Gyor (NW Hungary) with the aim of expanding the selection it offers partners. Matusz-Vad already enjoys a high profile in the game meat segment. @font-face { font-family: "Cambria"; }p.MsoNormal, li.MsoNormal, div.MsoNormal { margin: 0cm 0cm 10pt; font-size: 12pt; font-family: "Times New Roman"; }div.Section1 { page: Section1; } (MTI – Econews)
