Matolcsy: Hungary strives to become a leading EU biotech center

Hungary aims to become one of the ten leading biotechnology centers in the European Union by 2020-2025, and the leading one in the Central and Eastern European region, National Economy Minister György Matolcsy said on Tuesday.

Speaking at a conference of Hungarian drug maker Richter Gedeon, themed around Hungary's six-month presidency of the Council of the European Union, Matolcsy said that Hungary has already partially established the conditions needed to make creative industries a cornerstone of its economic policies.
