The output of Mal Zrt, the aluminium producer company that is responsible for the October red sludge disaster has dropped by 10% and is not likely to reach its annual product plans, business daily Napi Gazdaság learned.
The deficit comes from the 11-day stop in production that followed the catastrophe. The company will raise its prices by 5-18% in the year ahead, which, the paper presumes, will be well-received in the markets. Mal has already contracted 75-80% of its capacity for 2011. (BBJ)
