Malév Cargo to relocate base in 2013

Malév Cargo, the freight unit of Hungarian airline Malév, said it will start operating from a different base at Budapest's Liszt Ferenc International Airport beginning on January 1, 2013.

Malév will rent a 4,250-sqm base plus 583 sqm offices and additional space for its operations at the airport's new freight center from Liszt Ferenc Airport operator Budapest Airport.

Budapest Airport said announced in May it started the construction of a new freight base at the airport. The first phase of the project will be completed in 2012.

Malév Cargo had profit of HUF 565.4 million in 2010.
