Aeroplex, the maintenance unit of Hungary's national carrier Malév, has signed an agreement on joining the aircraft servicing network of SuperJet International, Aeroplex told MTI.
Under the agreement, Aeroplex will offer maintenance and repair services to airlines that operate SuperJet International's SSJ100 aircraft.
“The current agreement is a new step forward in SuperJet International's strategy, which aims to ensure operators of the SSJ100 the best service and maintenance,” said SuperJet International director in charge of customer service Giovanni Simonetti.
Aeroplex offers a wide range of maintenance and repair services, mainly for Boeing 767, Boeing 737, Airbus 320, Fokker 70 and 100 aircraft. The company has serviced more than a thousand aircraft for more than 300 partners since it was established in 1992.
In 2007, Aeroplex started operating at Moscow's Domodedovo Airport.
Malév signed a declaration of intent with SuperJet International on the purchase of 30 Sukhoi Superjet 100s worth more than USD 1 billion at the Le Bourget air show near Paris in June. (MTI – Econews)
