Magyar Telekom unveils videoconferencing system

Magyar Telekom on Thursday presented an internet-based videoconferencing system that connects around 10,000 such systems around the country.

Magyar Telekom spent HUF 50 million-HUF 100 million to launch the service, said corporate services division chief István Papp. Global sales of High Definition videoconferencing equipment is expected to double in 2011, he added.

Installing the videoconferencing system at companies costs between HUF 50,000 and several million forints, depending on the quality of the equipment. (MTI-ECONEWS)
