Hungarian telecommunications company Magyar Telekom will begin selling gas and electricity on May 17, Magyar Telekom President-CEO Christopher Mattheisen said on Wednesday.
Mattheisen noted that those who use Magyar Telekom's retail telecommunications-services will receive a 5%-8% discount on gas and electricity.
Magyar Telekom will begin selling gas and electricity in Budapest's 18th district as well as the cities of Miskolc, Szeged, Székesfehérvár and Szombathely.
The Magyar Telekom president-CEO said that the company would contact commercial clients individually regarding sales of gas and electricity, noting that territorial restrictions would not apply to such clients.
Magyar Telekom plans to expand the number of places in which the company sells gas and electricity during the second half of the year. (MTI-ECONEWS)
