Magyar Posta asks Brussels for exemption

State-owned postal company Magyar Posta has asked the European Commission to exempt it from a rule requiring it to call public procurements for cash payment and intermediary services, Magyar Posta told MTI on Thursday.

Magyar Posta said the requirement puts it at a competitive disadvantage. If the Commission finds there is genuine competition on the market for such services, it could grant an exemption from the requirement, it added.
