Hungary's Prímagáz, a unit of Dutch Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) distributor SHV Gas, said Intergas Hungaria, which operates the biggest LPG terminal in the Záhony region, has merged into it.
Prímagáz acquired Intergas Hungaria earlier and the transaction was approved by Hungary's Competition Office (GVH) in May on the condition Prímagáz make the terminal capacity available to other market players.
The acquisition gives Prímagáz an additional annual 120,000-140,000 tons of terminal capacity, making it the biggest player on the market. Prímagáz plans to start a 30-50% capacity expansion at the terminal within two years.
The terminal transfers deliveries arriving on Ukraine's broad-gauge railway network to standard-gauge rolling stock. (MTI – Econews)
