Hotel Gyula has completed the HUF 1.35 billion renovation and reconstruction of the former Agro Hotel in the spa town of Gyula (SE Hungary), managing director István Havas told MTI on Tuesday.
The hotel has been renamed Wellness Hotel Gyula, Havas said.
The hotel's owners, mostly private individuals who live in the city, won a HUF 423 million grant for the project.
The 68-room hotel next to the city spa has a 650 sqm wellness centre and a 250 sqm conference center.
The hotel has a staff of 47 and a further 12 sole proprietors, such as a hairdressers and a masseur, work there.
