The Hungarian town of Gyenesdiás, on Lake Balaton, expects to sign a contract with a German investor on the construction of an HUF 8.4 billion hotel in March, mayor Lajos Gál told MTI.
The local council has already signed two declarations of intent with the investor, whom Gál declined to name.
The 200- to 250-room hotel is to be built on a 1.7-hectare site that is now used by fishermen. The hotel will create 80-100 workplaces, the mayor said. (MTI-Econews)
