Hungarian IT company Kürt Rt, a leading data protection and recovery company, is showing its DataDefender software at the CeBIT technology fair in Hannover, the company announced on Monday. Kürt is counting on the software to generate much of the revenue at its unit in Germany. In 2005, Kürt's German unit doubled its revenue from a year earlier to €400,000. Kürt, established in 1989, also has a foreign subsidiary in Austria. Kürt had revenue of Ft 1.3 billion in 2005, 30% more than in the previous year, marketing director Dea Csuba said. This year, the company expects to match last year's revenue rise.
