Austrian-owned Kner Packaging, based in Békéscsaba, expects to close 2010 with revenue of HUF 4.4 billion, the company told MTI.
Kner Packaging expects operating profit of HUF 355 million in 2010, up from HUF 233 million in 2009.
The company has spent HUF 1.7 billion on investments over five years and it plans to spend a further HUF 800 million on technological developments.
About 30% of Kner Packaging's orders come from drug makers. The company's other big business partners are in the food, sweets and tobacco industries.
Exports generate 20% of Kner Packaging's revenue.
The company's name will change to Marzek Kner Packaging from 2011. Kner Packaging is owned by Marzek Etiketten. (MTI – Econews)
