Hungarian construction company KÉSz Ipari Gyártó has taken orders for 4,900 tons of steel from its plant in Kecskemét so far this year, managing director Dezső Farkas told MTI on Friday. The plant has received foreign orders for 4,200 tons and domestic orders for 700 tons, he said. The company has not had such a strong start to the year since before the crisis, he added. The orders include ones from Denmark's Cimbria Unigrain, the Swiss company Bolliger&Maillard Consulting Engineers and Andritz, LOI Thermprocess and CEMTEC Cement and Mining Technology, all based in Austria.
