The Hungarian Investment and Trade Development Agency (ITD Hungary) and the Bács-Kiskun County Trade and Industry Chamber held a forum for potential Hungarian facility management partners for German car maker Daimler's plant in Kecskemét, ITD Hungary said.
The aim of the event was to give the most possible Hungarian businesses a chance to compete with multinational facility management companies to partner with Daimler at its plant in Hungary.
Daimler has called an international facility management tender for the plant.
The €800 million plant Daimler is building in Kecskemet is expected to start operating in 2012. The plant's 2,500 staff will turn out an annual 100,000 compact models. (MTI – Econews)
