Italian-owned Tecnica Ungheria Logistic will build a HUF 4.5 billion ski boot factory and logistics center in the Hungarian city of Nagykálló by the end of 2010, state secretary at the National Development and Economy Ministry Ábel Garamhegyi said.
The plant will employ 200 people, Garamhegyi said.
The plant's location is an advantage as it is just four kilometers from the M3 motorway, 50 kilometers from Záhony and close to Slovakia, said Tecnica Ungheria managing director Renato Fava.
Hungary aims to turn Záhony into a logistics hub for the entire region. (MTI – Econews)
