Investors will lay the cornerstone of a long-delayed casino and hotel, dubbed Eurovegas, near Hungary's border with Austria in May, regional daily Kisalföld said.
The paper said work on the project would also start in May, without citing a source. The casino will be completed by June 2012 and the hotel by 2013, the paper said.
The road across the construction site will be closed within weeks.
Austrian investors won a 20-year license to operate a big casino at the site more than four years ago. The complex was to have opened by 2010, but construction was probably delayed because of the crisis.
