Hungarian scrap metal dealer Inter-Metal-Recycling had revenue of HUF 12 billion in 2010, double that in the previous year as metal prices rose and accelerating industrial exports meant more scrap metal to collect, business daily Világgazdaság said on Tuesday.
The increase followed a double-digit decline in revenue in 2009.
This year, the company's revenue could reach HUF 15 billion, managing director and owner Gábor Vincze told the paper.
Inter-Metal-Recycling collected 50,000 tons of scrap metal last year. The company employs about 130 people.
