Innovation Tech Show Budapest: springboard for CES in Las Vegas

A dozen new high-technology innovations can be experienced first hand at this year's Innovation Tech Show on December 7 in Budapest. For several of the exhibiting Hungarian startups, this will also be a springboard for the CES in Las Vegas.

The event called Innovation Tech Show that showcases the latest Hungarian hi-tech innovations, is held for the second time by Mobility and Multimedia Cluster. Currently the largest technology exhibition of Hungary, the show will feature 25 new innovations that the visitors can even try out for themselves in Merlin Theater.

At the same place and time, Innovation Tech Show will serve as a meeting point for the hi-tech and innovation professionals. Already 200 of them pre-registered for the event, with Zsolt Nyitrai, state secretary responsible for ICT and the managers of several internationally successful SMEs among them.

"Most of the high tech innovations of this year are related to the media," said Gábor Lemák, managing director of Mobility and Multimedia Cluster. Some of them are facing an international career, heading from the Innovation Tech Show straight to Las Vegas, for the largest consumer electronics exhibition called CES. The show will feature recently IPO'd Hybridbox, Artklikk, Gravity and iPont International with their glasses-free 3D TV. The organizers also have a secret surprise as well, possibly also a world success.

The tech show's motto for this year is "Museum or Success Factory?” and in terms of this, visitors can try not only the innovations of the future but they can also compete in the cult game “Wizard of War” on Commodore 64 computers.

Innovation Tech Show will be open for the public from 4 p.m. and everyone can vote for the best innovation on site. The closing programs will include the presentation of the winner of the Tech Show Prize and the last HiTech Pub event of the year. (BBJ)
