Hunguest Hotels has inaugurated the Grandhotel Galya in Galyatető (NE Hungary) following a HUF 229 million renovation, the company told MTI on Thursday.
The project was part of HUF 900 million in developments at three Hunguest Hotels units in the region. The company has completed the renovation of Hotel Flora in Eger, at a cost of HUF 160 million, and it is converting the three-star Hotel Palota in Lilafüred into a four-star hotel at a cost of HUF 510 million.
The developments are expected to boost guest nights at the three hotels by 20% within five years, CEO István Hulvely said earlier.
Hunguest Hotels operates 19 hotels in Hungary, one in Austria, one in Romania and one in Montenegro. (MTI-Econews)
