Hungary: Nyírerdő, MNV inaugurate wood processing plant

Nyirerdő and the State Asset Management Company (MNV) on Thursday inaugurated a HUF 300 million wood processing plant in Ófehértó (northeast Hungary).

The plant will process an annual 5,000 cubic meters of wood. Nyírerdő manages almost 60,000 hectares of forest in Hajdú-Bihar County. It makes more than 200 products for the domestic market and for export. Nyírerdő had revenue of more than HUF 4 billion in 2008, about the same as in 2007.
