The number of mobile phone subscriptions in Hungary fell more than 7,000 to 11.67m in September, the National Media and Infocommunications Authority said on Monday.
The number of active mobile phone subscriptions -- numbers that were called or from which calls were made in the previous three months -- rose 9,000 from the previous month to almost 11m in September.
Market penetration was unchanged at 117.1 per hundred people in September.
T-Mobile's market share based on the total number of subscriptions rose to 44.81% from 44.71% in the previous month, Vodafone's increased to 22.77% from 22.73% and Telenor's dropped to 32.42% from 32.56%.
Based on subscriptions generating turnover, Vodafone's market share was unchanged at 22.66%, Telenor's fell to 32.02% from 32.10%, while T-Mobile's rose to 45.32% from 45.23%.
