The number of mobile phone subscriptions in Hungary fell 70,000 to 11.823 million in April, the National Media and Infocommunications Authority (NMHH) said.
The number of active mobile phone subscriptions ─ numbers that were called or from which calls were made in the previous three months ─ fell 24,000 to close to 10.941m during the month.
Market penetration inched down to 118.4 per hundred people in April from 119.1 in March.
T-Mobile's market share based on the total number of subscriptions rose to 44.08% in April from 43.81% in March, Vodafone's increased to 22.54% from 22.52%, while Telenor's fell to 33.38% from 33.67%.
Based on subscriptions generating turnover, Vodafone's market share fell to 22.67% from 22.72%, Telenor's dropped to 32.32% from 32.36%, while T-Mobile's rose to 45.01% from 44.92%.
