The number of mobile internet subscriptions in Hungary rose to 1.448 million in April from 1.394 million a month earlier, the National Media and Infocommunications Authority (NMHH) said on Thursday.
The number of active mobile internet subscriptions -- those who used the service at some time during the previous three months -- climbed to 1.109 million from 1.073 million in April, NMHH said.
Mobile internet subscribers transferred 1,308,000 gigabytes of data in April, down from 1,383,000 in March.
Vodafone's market share in terms of subscriber numbers rose to 25.78% from 25.34% in April, Telenor's fell to 26.04% from 26.41%, while T-Mobile's market share fell to 48.18% from 48.26%.
In terms of the number of active subscriptions, T-Mobile's share fell to 48.64% from 48.76%,
Vodafone's rose to 27.41% from 27.11% and Telenor's fell to 23.95% from 24.13%.
