Hungary's deal-of-the-day market is expected to generate turnover of more than HUF 2 billion this year, but the amount could even reach HUF 3 billion, e-business research center GKIeNET-BCE said on Wednesday.
GKIeNet managing director Gergely Kis said there are around 50 companies active in the online daily deal business in Hungary.
One of them, Bónusz Brigád, expects to generate turnover of HUF 1 billion in 2011, according to owner Zoltán Kaprinay. Commissions account for 30% of the amount, he added.
Bónusz Brigád launched in September 2010. It employs 17 people.
