The Azerbaijani NJT-2000 and the Hungarian chemical company Borsodchem signed a memorandum on the continuation of cooperation in Budapest, within the framework of the Azerbaijani-Hungarian business forum dated to the visit of the Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev to Hungary.
The memorandum envisages the supply of some 8,000 tons of PVC (Polyvinyl Chloride) by Borsodchem to Baku in 2008 to be used as raw material at the NJT-2000. The cost of the project is $14 million, the head of the Foreign Relations Department at NJT-2000 Aga-Rza Rzayev said to Trend Capital on 19 February. “Supplies will be continued in the future,” Rzayev said.
NJT-2000 is an enterprise based in Azerbaijan with 100% foreign investments. The company manufactures high-quality products from PVC, PP, and PE - pipes and fittings from PVC and PP for hot and cold drinking water, sewerage pipes and fittings from PVC, pipes from PE for natural gas. PVC drainage and deep well pipes, hoses for irrigating systems, plastic panels and their accessories with various patterns for covering walls and ceilings.
The equipment and raw materials required for the manufacturing is delivered from Germany, Turkey, Romania, Malaysia, Hungary, Russia, Korea and other countries in Europe. (Trend Capital)
