Hungary allocates CHF 130 mln available from Swiss Fund

The source will be used to support 40 projects, to be completed by 2017.

Hungary has allocated all of the CHF 130 million available from the Swiss Contribution (Swiss Fund) program, Swiss Contribution Office head Liliana de Sa Kirchknopf said at a press conference on Wednesday.

The monies will be used to support 40 projects, to be completed by 2017, Kirchknopf said.

Switzerland, as a member of the European Free Trade Association (EFTA) but not a member of the European Union, earlier decided to make a combined CHF 1 billion in development funding available to new EU member states.
