Digital face recognition software, license plate reader and intelligent blackboard innovations were the most successful of all Hungarian ideas at one of the world’s most prestigious IT event, GITEX last week, where a dozen Hungarian companies could present their latest innovations.
At the event held in the capital of the United Arabian Emirates, more than 3,000 companies from 65 countries represented on 72,000 square meters their latest ICT developments. With the help of ITD Hungary, companies had a 54 square meter stand to have their own piece of the cake.
Hungarian representation dating back to 2006 has been increasingly successful: one of the former exhibitors got several state projects delegated in Dubai and some other companies had established offices in the country.
Not only Hungarian IT companies, but also their association IVSZ urged that ITD organized a representation possibility not only on the largest European events but also in the near East or Asia, putting GITEX on the map of exhibitions.
