Sziget, a Hungarian company that organises several big summer music festivals around the country, plans to start an event in Croatia next summer, business daily Világgazdaság reported.
Sziget already has a seaside location and a partner for the festival, Sziget managing director Karoly Gerendai told the paper. The festival would take place around the end of July so as not to coincide with the festivals Sziget organises in Hungary, he added.
Sziget organises a festival in Targu Mures, Romania, at the end of August. All of its other festivals are in Hungary. This year's Sziget Festival, in Budapest, the biggest event Sziget organises, drew 382,000 visitors on August 11-16. (MTI - Econews)
