German electronics parts company Epcos expects revenue of Ft 35 billion in Hungary in 2006, 20% more than a year earlier, managing director of Epcos Electronics KFt László Szentkúti said in Wednesday's issue of business daily Világgazdaság.
Epcos will start the construction of a 5,000 square meter plant at its site in Szombathely, west Hungary, which it will rent. The plant will make aluminum electrolyte condensers and will require more hires. Currently, Epcos employs 1,270 people.
Szentkúti said Epcos's rapidly expanding stock of orders means it is always short of capacity.
