About half of the Eiffel Square office building has been rented out, one of the developers told MTI. The €40 million building, built jointly by property developers ConvergenCE and DVM Group, was completed last autumn.
The building is located next to Budapest's Nyugati (Western) railway station, designed by Gustave Eiffel.
Tenants include Hays Recruitment, Sony Axn, power generator AES-Tisza Erőmű, ESAB, Eiffel Medical Center and DJuice.
Office rents in the building move between €16-20 a month per square metre while operating costs are €3.5 per square meter according to earlier MTI information.
Construction on the building, which features 17,000 square meters of A-category rentable office space in its total area of 23,663 square meters, started in November 2007. The building will also include 5,500 square meters of retail space and restaurants as well as a garage with 365 parking spaces. (MTI-ECONEWS)
