Hajóker Bt has won a tender to deliver three patrol boats to Hungary's Customs and Excise Office (VPOP) with a bid of Ft 146 million, according to the latest issue of the Public Procurement Gazette.
Hajóker will also provide technical support for the boats. One of the boats will go to the VPOP office in Nyíregyháza, northeast Hungary to be used to patrol the River Tisza. The boat costs Ft 22 million plus VAT. The other two boats will be operated out of the Csepel Port in Budapest and will patrol the Danube. The two boats cost a combined Ft 124 million. The VPOP will use money available from the Schengen Fund for the purchase.
