The city of Gyula expects its spa to draw almost 500,000 visitors this year, up 5-10% from 2010, the Gyula Castle Spa's new managing director Laszlo Attila Boros said at a press conference.
The spa is offering discounts to visitors who stay at nearby hotels, it is expanding the services it offers and it is cutting the part of the cost of subsidized services that visitors pay for, Boros said.
Asked about the spa's turnover in 2010, Boros said he could not reveal any data as the transfer between the old and new management is ongoing.
The spa is to undergo an almost HUF 2.5 billion expansion starting in 2012. The project will add more than 900 sqm of pools to the spa. (MTI – Econews)
