The municipality of the city of Gyula (SE Hungary) has won more than HUF 852 million for the environmental clean-up of a former landfill, shut down four years ago, deputy mayor Árpád Szabó told MTI on Friday.
The project is 100% funded by the Regional Development Council. The investment is scheduled to start in the spring of 2010 after conclusion of the funding contract and the public procurement procedure, and is expected to be completed in 2011. (MTI-Econews)
