Hungarian property developer Futureal Group and Austrian partner Immofinanz on Thursday inaugurated a €70 m shopping centre in Baia Mare, Romania.
About 1.2 million people are within an hour drive from the centre, called Gold Plaza, said Futureal Group CEO Gábor Futó.
The project, which took two years to complete, was financed by Hungary's MKB Bank. It will be owned by Immofinanz.
More than 80% of the 100 shops in the centre have been leased out by Colliers International.
Futureal Group's residential unit Cordia will inaugurate a 119-home complex in the north of Bucharest on November 9. The €16m project is being financed by Greece's Alfa Bank. (MTI Econews)
