Fujitsu Siemens Computers sales up 10%

The Hungarian unit of Fujitsu-Siemens Computers Ltd, a maker of desktop and notebook PCs, as well as handheld computers, high-end servers and mainframes, storage devices and peripherals, reported a 10% year-on-year revenue rise in the first half of its business year started April 1, Világgazdaság reported. The Hungarian unit sold 30,000 products in April-September, 20% more than in the same period a year earlier. The unit sold 5,200 laptops in July-September, increasing its share of the market 8 percentage points to 53.5%. Fujitsu-Siemens is Europe's biggest maker of IT equipment, and its Hungarian unit is the second biggest in its local market, with a 10.6% market share.
