Shareholders of Property holding company Fotex Holding approved a proposal to pay dividend only on preference shares at an annual general meeting on April 26.
Fotex will pay €651,000 in dividend on 1.55 million non-voting preference shares.
There are 70.7 million ordinary Fotex shares floated on the Budapest Stock Exchange. The 2 million preference shares, of which 450,000 are treasury shares, are not listed.
Fotex issued the preference shares in August 2007. It paid out a dividend on the shares in 2008 and 2009.
Fotex has not paid a dividend on ordinary shares since 1998. (MTI-Econews)
