Former Serbian central bank governor to become new CEO at Erste Bank Hungary

Erste Bank Hungary on Tuesday named Radovan Jelasic, a Hungarian-born economist and former Serbian central bank governor, as its new chief.

Jelasic, 43, will join the bank's management from June 1 and fill the post of chairman-CEO pending approval by Hungarian market regulators.

Jelasic replaces Edit Papp, who is leaving the bank to pursue other professional opportunities in Hungary.

Ms Papp's departure was announced in February.
