Budapest gas distributor Főgáz has signed a contract partnering with Hungarian oil and gas company MOL to open the first public CNG (compressed natural gas) pump in Budapest, Főgáz said on Tuesday.
The pump, expected to start operating in the summer, will be installed at MOL's petrol station in Kőbányai ut. The pump will cost tens of millions of forints to install.
In the Hungarian city of Szeged, more than 40 public buses are fuelled with CNG. (Econews)
