Flextronics hires 200 workers to fill new order

Contract manufacturer Flextronics is hiring 200 more assembly line workers at its plant in Hungary to fill an order for a new partner, business daily Napi Gazdaság reported on Friday.

The contract, for products in the mobile segment, is expected to compensate for a big part of falling orders. Flextronics laid off 400 workers at its Hungarian plant at the beginning of February. Headcount at the base in Zalaegerszeg (northwest Hungary) is about 3,500. (MTI-Econews)
