Car industry subcontractor Fastron Hungary Kft decided to carry out a Ft 400 million investment, general manager Károly Mayer said.
The green field investment includes setting up a 1,800 square meter workshop and buying new equipment to fulfill the increasing amount of orders. About 30-40 new workers will be added to the current staff of 540. The company is a subsidiary of American Fastron Corporation; it manufactures mechanic and electronic parts for Bosch, Philips Medical Systems, Cherokee Europe, Sanmina, Barco View and MAN Roland. It sells 75% of its products abroad; the rest goes to Hungarian companies.
