Hungarian plastics company Extruform-Karsai Műanyagipari on Thursday inaugurated a HUF 450 million production hall at its base in Székesfehérvár (NW Hungary).
Extruform-Karsai is making 50 new hires to man the production hall which makes parts for suitcases, lamps and cars. Another 50 people could be hired next year as the result of further developments.
The new production hall is to produce an annual 1,000 tons of parts, worth some HUF 500 million, after it reaches full capacity, said chairman Béla Karsai. Most will be exported, he added.
The value of output could double if the plant expands, he said.
