Hungarian-owned energy drink maker Hell Energy had revenue of € 20 million in 2010, about half from exports, the company told MTI. Hell Energy's exports rose 40% in 2010, both in terms of value and volume. Last year, Hell Energy became market leader on Kazakhstan's energy drink market, said export director Andras Dunai. The company's sales in the country reached almost €1 million in 2010, its first year there, making it Hell Energy’s second-biggest export market. Hell Energy entered markets in Russia, Belarus and Kyrgyzstan at the beginning of 2011, bringing the number of countries in which it has a market presence to 24. Deliveries to Greece and Spain will start in days. The drink has been sold in Slovakia and Romania now for four years. Hell Energy is building a HUF 4.5 billion plant in NE Hungary. At present, the drinks are produced by a foreign contractor.
